How can I volunteer to be a Head Coach or Assistant Coach?
All coaches are required to have a current St Johns County Parks and Recreation badge. If you have a badge that was issued to you from another sport (ie..Tackle Football, Cheer, etc…) that badge will suffice. If you do not have a badge, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can collect appropriate information to run a background check. You will also need to have a current Coaching Certification with PAL, this includes Introduction to Youth Sports. These coaching certifications can be completed online at no cost and take less than 30 minutes.
